Dr. Tamir Mostaffa Mosharrafa, MD

Dr. Tamir Mosharrafa is a very talented plastic surgeon who did a wonderful job with breast reconstruction after a total mastectomy. His office and surgery staff are the heart of his practice and reflect the care and compassion he has for his patients.

Dr. Tamir Mosharrafa is so extremely talented!!! I had a breast reduction about 16 years ago by another surgeon in the valley. I was pleased because there was improvement but was never really happy with my scars (they show in my cleavage and go into my armpit and they're thick and raised). Fast forward and now 16 years later I've had a child, hit the 40-year milestone and have hypothyroid issue and now my perfect C-cup breasts are a DDD-cup again! I selected Dr. Tamir because his gallery of before/after photos are amazing. His office staff is so sweet and helpful, and I love that he has his own operating room right downstairs from his office. I'm two months postop now and couldn't be more thrilled. His incisions are placed perfectly and they're super thin. Once the color fades, as I know it will, it'll be beautiful. My symmetry is great, and I just feel like me again. He is so kind and has the best bedside manner. He's professional and friendly and I couldn't be happier!!!

In May 2017 I made the worst decision of my life to trust this dr. He sounded knowledgable and confident. He cut too much skin, placed the incision asymmetrically and too high and placed my belly button in my torso. Im still in pain when I stretch and I feel a knot where the old bb opening used to be. I have doggy ears. Has made me loose my self confidence. Worst part was his dismissive attitude and lack of compassion. He also transferred fat tissue to my face and ruined my eyes, fat lumps, didn’t offer a resolution , just left me like that. I am unable to trust anyone to fix my body now. Top doctor magazine not to be trusted at all.

I was a patient of Dr. Tamir Mosharrafa for four years, as I battled two rounds of breast cancer. His arrogance never seemed to bother me, as it did my family, until the end. When my cancer came back, and I was diagnosed with stage IV IBC, he sat in his office and told me that he would perform a surgery that would remove all the infected area of skin the cancer had appeared on. He said he cleared his calendar so that he would ensure the surgery would go as planned. Also stating that he would perform frozen sections, so that during surgery, they could verify all of the margin's were clear of cancer. However, It turns out that Dr. Tamir Mosharrafa lied about the entire surgery. He didn't clear his schedule, and when the surgery wasn't able to start on time, he told me he might have to cancel because he had another surgery to attend to. When they were able to get me in 20 minutes later, I was relieved. I felt that this was my last/best chance to survive. During the surgery,… without consulting anyone except the other surgeon in the operating room, he decided that he would only remove my breast implant and half the infected skin area. Taking it all would involve an agreed upon skin graft. I guess he was short on time, and wanted to make sure he could charge for two surgery's that day. In the end, he didn't take any frozen sections, and had no idea if he had aided in my cancer treatment plan. A skin biopsy could have been performed instead of this surgery to provide me with the same results. Dr. Tamir Mosharrafa is a selfish, narcissistic man, with a lack of empathy for his patients. If you're a cancer patient, I would highly advise you to look else where for a plastic surgeon. Don't put your life in his hands. This incident was reported to the Arizona Medical board.

Love the environment in the office. Staff are so wonderful and cheerful. Dr. Tamir explained my procedure in a way I could understand. Every time I called the response was prompt. Definitely would refer my friends and/or family to this clinic.

I had a facelift with Dr. Tamir Mosharrafa about 3 years ago. The surgery and all dealing with both him and his staff were outstanding. I would rate him higher than the 5 start rating allows.

Dr. Mosharrafa is a wonderful and caring surgeon. I have had the pleasure to work along side Dr. Mosharrafa in the operating room he has the most caring and skillfull hands. That is when I decided to have a tummy tuck and thigh lift I choose Dr. Mosharrafa for my surgeon, he did an absolute wonderful job and am so very grateful to him. I will be returning to Dr. Mosharrafa for an arm lift soon.

Dr. Mosharrafa is the most skilled, and caring Physician. His office staff is just as great. I had a tummy tuck and thigh lift after losing 75lbs. I had fantastic results and am very happy and thankful to Dr. Mosharrafa. I will be returning to have any arm lift.
