Dr. Tammy Mitchell, MD

While Dr. Mitchell herself is a fantastic physician, her office staff leaves much to be desired. Messages do not get relayed in a timely manner, if at all. Prescription refill requests are set aside and sometimes forgotten. When pressed for answers about why scheduling and prescription refill mistakes are made, the office staff offers no explanation other than that messages are put into the computer system and that they have no control over what happens after that. Essentially, the office staff is inefficient and blames the computer system, the doctor, and nursing staff. I am currently looking for another family physician because of the terrible service I have received from the office staff at Dr. Mitchell’s practice. A shame, really, since she’s such a great doctor. It doesn’t matter how great the doctor is, though, if patients can’t receive support in following doctor’s orders and receiving adequate care due to shoddy office management.

She was very concerned about the treatments that I am undergoing and is going to help me to adjust to what is going on .

As a patient of Dr. Mitchell, I have enjoyed her concern and compassion through numerous medical issues. In all of my past experiences with the medical profession, Dr. Mitchell is the rare physician who personally telephoned me to inquire of my convalescence, and address my concerns. Another star on her rating is the efficiency and efficacy of her staff. Appointments are timely. No dreaded waits in uncomfortable chairs. I frequently recommend Dr. Mitchel to friends and family.
