My goal is to focus on the needs of my patient and families. I take pride in the partnership and teamwork with my patients that will lead to optimal health and wellness.
I am board certified as a family nurse practitioner. I completed my master of science degree in nursing at DeSales University. I began my nursing career over 15 years ago and have been a family nurse practitioner since 2015. I am qualified to diagnose and treat a wide array of conditions across the entire lifespan. I am an active member of American Association of Nurse Practitioners and Pennsylvania Coalition of Nurse Practitioners.
Currently employed by St. Luke’s, I independently provided care in the St. Luke’s Miners Rural Health Clinic (RHC), helping that facility to be recognized as the 2016 RHC of the year in PA and to win the 2018 Outstanding Rural Health Organization Award from the National Rural Health Association. I am also trained in motivational interviewing, helping patients with …self-management of their own chronic conditions.
I have also served as the primary care provider on HealthStar, the mobile youth health van. I have led the MORE Care Dental-in-Primary Care effort for patients 12 years and under by achieving more rapid results than the 13 other Pennsylvania Rural Health Clinics that are implementing MORE care.
I reside in the Beltzville area with my husband, Rodney. I am the mother of two children and one stepchild. I enjoy my time off in northern Potter County, exploring on ATVs, relaxing and spending time with my family.
