Dr. Tamra Faye Aman, DO

I went in with very obvious symptoms of a very common condition with severe impact on overall quality of life and general wellbeing. This doctor spent a lot of time collecting information but then ordered bare minimum labs despite my insurance covering more as standard a standard practice and despite my belief that a full metabolic panel would show my suspicion was valid. She was very condescending and literally said to me, "Welcome to middle age, dear." It took one doctor to ruin my life and another to thankfully put it back on track. I was 100% correct; subsequent labs proved without question that I DO have severe Hashimoto's. I'm not crazy. It's not all in my mind. It has been debilitating and miserable for my entire family. With as poorly as women's health in general is treated I really expected better from another woman but she made me feel small and foolish. I could have died left untreated. I'll never forgive that, but at least now I'm finally getting appropriate care elsewhere.

Very interactive and excellent follow up sometimes in person which is outstanding.
