Dr. Tamrya Lee Rogers, MD

Dr. Rogers and Staff are first class. They will give you excellent medical treatment and advice. My overall health has improved with the help of Dr. Rogers. I highly recommend Dr. Rogers to anyone looking for medical and weight loss.

My daughter had gained weight (about 50 lbs. steadily since high school. In tears she came to me, finally ready to see a doctor about the issue after she took a blood sugar and it was elevated. Since my husband is a diabetic, I quickly found Dr. Rogers and saw that she was both an internal medicine specialist and a bariatrics specialist. No one greeted us at the primary care desk, all the staff was at the weight loss window selling shakes and diet bars. We finally checked in and had to wait 45" before the nurses' aid called her in for weight (228 lbs.) and blood pressure. (136/81) At 22 yrs. of age, neither of these numbers are good(I am an R.N.), though no one mentioned these borderline numbers. When the Dr. quickly strode in after another 20" wait, she asked my daughter what her complaint was (part of which was obvious!). Choking back tears, my daughter explained her rapid weight gain, depression, being cold all the time, lethargy and feelings of worthlessness. The Dr. asked… "anthing else?". Astonished, my daughter said, "No, I guess not". The Dr. ordered some lab and left, never coming back. We were sent home and told to get lab and come back in 2 weeks. No recommendations, no encouragement, no discussion of diet and possibilities for rapid weight gain. It seems the patients that pay large amounts of cash for diet shakes and bars get priority there and the patients that come for medical care do not. Although, if the Dr. had bothered to discuss her program, suggested a weight loss plan etc., we may have eventually subscribed to it. Very cold and impersonal, and waiting room was infested with fruit flies buzzing around. We will look for someone truly interested in helping and healing not just looking for liquid cash flow.

Dr Rogers and Charity (PA) have always been outstanding; but the service provided by the office staff has not been stellar at all. Calls were not returned on important issues because Dr Rogers never received the messages.Recent changes that provided answered calls is an absolute patient pleaser that lines up perfectly with the outstanding service Dr Rogers and Charity personally provide.

I have always received good care from my physicians, but Dr. Rogers and her staff are without a doubt the best in the healthcare industry. The staff is accommodating in scheduling appts. and if I need to speak to the Dr. or her PA, I get a call the same day! I am forever grateful to Dr. Rogers and her staff for making such a positive impact on my life and well being.

My first visit was with the PA who was very good. But, when I came back for my follow-up I requested to see the Doctor so I could ask some serious questions and go over my lab results. Dr. Rogers took time to see me, review my labs and answer my questions so I understood what was going on. It definitely shows that she cares very much for her patients and is very good at her profession. I would highly recommend her. Also, her staff is very personable and caring.
