Dr. Tandy Lynn Champion, DO

I have had several interactions with Dr Champion over the past few years and I am not impressed. She was completely dismissive and was more concerned about getting to her checklist than answering my questions during my yearly physical. I have some pretty complicated medical needs and as I was asking her questions she replied in a demeaning voice, “What do you want me to do about it?” I would not recommend her if you are looking for someone to partner with for your health.

She is the absolute worst primary care doctor I’ve ever had. Sometimes speaking with her feels like speaking to a deer in headlights. She always seems confused. I told her I hit my head and wanted a scan and she recommended therapy. She is a risk to everyone who sees her. If you want help for your issues and value your life your life DO NOT SEE THIS WANNABE DOCTOR

Dr. Champion has been our whole family’s doctor for years. She is truly caring and always takes time to talk about anything you are concerned about.

I had my first appointment with Dr Champion recently and could not be more favorably impressed! She spent over an hour with me, much of it listening while looking at me, not a computer. She had many suggestions for my health care issues that did not involve prescription medication or drastic interventions as the first plan of attack. Many of them are already working. I can see why she won an award for her kind and caring ‘bedside manner’. Such a great fit for my needs!

Lacks discretion, discernment, and tact with her recommendations that involve others. She blindly advised a spouse that her husband should get a vasectomy without ever speaking to the husband about the situation. She also recklessly brought up the topics of suicide and abuse to a child in a manner as if the parents were not involved and as if she had some established relationship with the child where she could be trusted more than the parents, instead of working in conjunction with the parents on these issues. Her crusade to want to stop childhood suicide and childhood abuse is commendable, but the implementation of her plan could use some serious professional reflection and re-engineering.

Love Love Love Dr. Champion. She is so thourough. She never rushes me through my appointment and shows that she cares everytime I am in there. Rebecca could use some people skills, but can't say enough about Dr. Champion!

Bad bedside manner and says she will not charge for a doctor visit then bills your insurance. Total airhead. I would not recommend!! WIll not be going back.

Called to ask about setting up a mamogram, as sister was just diagnosed with breast cancer. Rebecca told me to set it up on my own. When I asked for a telephone number, as Marge had provided in the past, Rebecca told me to go where I went before. VERY RUDE and purposefully unhelpful.

She is a good doctor. I have been seeing her for about 10 years and her diagnosis are accurate and fast. Nice office staff, no problems with billing.

Dr. Champion was wonderful, however her receptionist was very rude. This lady made me feel as if I was a burden on her entire day.
