0 stars if i could. absolutely the worst APRN/ medical personnel to ever assist with my child. Im not one to leave reviews but I felt as a parent, Its only fair to warn others. Tania Veloz was my secondary option to see as an emergency towards a few concerns for my daughter. However, during the visit she emphasized and put more concern towards the vaccines than other REAL problems going on with my child that affects a lot of her growth, etc. She brushed off our concerns, gave almost no solution and spent most of our visit scolding us about vaccines. We never said NO forever to vaccines nor is she not vaccinated. We just simply explained for religious purposes and interest in simply delaying vaccine by vaccine we simply didnt have her up to date on them. My daughters growth has been declining and on her chart she skimmed through all that BUT decided to say “ yea and vaccines whats going on with that? its all over the place..” as she procceeds to acknowlege and mention it being a trigger… conversation. My partner responded WITH respect , “ We’re just still doing pur research and for religious purposes deciding whats next.” and she goes “ you think your research is better than ours?” Respectfully, shes an APRN for a reason and i only hope she stays as is or leaves. So many things went wrong with that visit and the lack of empathy, strong on the passive aggressiveness tone and more. She continues to even mention her having her probably 18 year old kid being vaccinated like maam the vaccine schedule has changed from when you were a first time mom im sure. Again, I have so much to say and will leave it at that. But please, be aware. and as an employee and parent at this facility, i pray you rethink who you have employed in the medical field dealing with all kinds of parents and children. The empathy HAS to be there and the respect. Very unprofessional of her. Dr. Llopiz is an amazing MD , its a shame she’s his aprn.

I’ve taken my sons to Nicklaus hospital and since they were babies and to the pediatrics since they were toddlers. Now one is 19 and the other 16 I have never seen such promptness ever. The doc was very polite knowledgeable I’m very much impressed how much they have changed. We were in and out in 20 mins or so

Como que le falta ser más empática, mi hijo tenía 4 días de tos el viernes cuando fui a verla, dolor en garganta, y los ataques de tos le despiertan en la noche, ya estamos jueves, es casi una semana y mi hijo sigue con tos, hace mucho esfuerzo para expectorar, sigue mal. El es ASMATICO Y HACE 8 AÑOS QUE NO VE A UN MEDICO, y no le recetó NI UN JARABITO PARA TOS, O ALBUTEROL, NADA DE NADA, es un desastre que no le receten nada para disminuir los síntomas!!!! Le hicieron test strep y COVID en la oficina y concluyó en diagnosticarle common cold, que tome te, aguas calientes y etc. PERO MI HIJO SIGUE MAL CON LA TOS, ESTA IGUAL QUE ANTES!!!! Y NO LE RECETO NI SIQUIERA SOLUCION SALINA. A PETICION DE NOSOTROS LE PEDIMOS EL TEST DE MICOPLASMA PORQUE HAY UN BROTE EN SU SALON Y SE FUERON con permiso ausencia de 3 días. Test tomado el viernes Llamaron el martes y por teléfono le dijo alguien a mi esposo que salió negativo. Y colgaron y yo llamé muchas veces para pedir que me pasen con un provider… pero nada, todo iba al buzón de llamadas y nunca me devolvieron la llamada. El no tenía record de vacuna, ME OFRECIERON BUSCAR SU RECORD PERO NUNCA ME LO DIERON. Si el diagnóstico solo se basa en tests entonces para que pierden el tiempo preguntando donde le duele o si tuvo fiebre, si al final ponen de diagnóstico basados en lo que pueden probar y no en lo que siente, por lo menos le hubieran diagnosticado tos y le hubieran puesto un jarabe para expectorar fuerte. POR QUE COMO LE DIJE A LA NURSE PRACTITIONER TANIA VELOZ NO EL NYQUIL LE AYUDA CON LOS SÍNTOMAS. MI HIJO SIGUE MUY MAL CON LA TOS , LA VERDAD ELLA ME PARECE MUY POCO EMPATICA, TENDRA SU MASTER EN ENFERMERÍA PERO LE FALTA EMPATIA CON LOS PACIENTES. NO LE RECETO NADA SABIENDO QUE MI HIJO ES ASMATICO, NINGUN ALBUTEROL PARA ABRIR EL PECHO, MI HIJO HA SUFRIDO AHOGANDOSE DE TOS POR LAS NOCHES HASTA AHORA, Y CON SUS MALESTARES DANDO EXAMEN. EL TOSE MUY FUERTE PORQUE NO PUEDE EXPECTORAR BIEN.A su medico supervisor NUNCA lo vimos, quizás si yo le hubiera pedido Albuterol, Este quizás lo hubiera autorizado, pero TANIA VELOZ SE LO NEGO. NO LE RECETO NADA. ESTABA EN EL HISTORIAL DE MI HIJO QUE ESTUVO ALLI EN ESE HOSPITAL EN Urgencias POR ASMA AÑOS ANTES Y NI AUN ASI. ELLA DEBE ENTENDER QUE UN ASMATICO DEBE SER MAS EXAMINADO, LE HIZO RESPIRAR 2 VECES Y NO SE SI REALMENTE ESCUCHO SUS PULMONES PORQUE ELLA ESTABA ALEJANDOSE DE EL PARA QUE NO LE TOSA A ELLA, EN VEZ DE PONERSE ELLA MISMA UNA MASCARA, ELLA NO TENIA MASCARA PUESTA. Y SU MEDICO QUE SUPERVISA LOS FNP BRILLO POR SU AUSENCIA. ME ATENDIERON RAPIDO, CON CORTESIA, PERO FALTA DE EMPATIA Y FALTA DE TRATAMIENTO A UN SICK VISIT!!!!! CREO QUE SI ALGUIEN VIENE ENFERMO, POR SENTIDO COMUN, HAY ALGUN SINTOMA QUE LE AQUEJA, Y AUNQUE ESTE SEA UN VIRUS, HAY QUE APOYAR AL PACIENTE CON ALGUN MEDICAMENTO QUE LE AYUDE A TOLERAR ESTOS SINTOMAS. NO DEJARLOS IR A SUS CASAS "IGUAL COMO VINIERON" DE HABER SABIDO ESTO MEJOR ME HUBIERA IDO A UN URGENT CARE, Ahora se que solo debo ir allá si está sano para los well check, del sano, pero JAMAS llevarlo allá si se enferma.

First time in the hospital and they made this procedure very easy and clear

Beyond excellent! Beyond outstanding! I was thrilled to find out she was a Nurse Practitioner when she came into the room. And she lived up to what I expected. She was thorough, did a full exam, ran tests, asked about my daughter's environment (bc of recurring Strep) and eve washed her hands before and after. I have never seen a doctor wash their hands (much less a resident). She was kind with my daughter (everyone in that office is, excellent team).
