Dr. Tanisha Murray

Tanisha Murray is a Ph.D. student currently pursuing her LCSW. She has over 6 years of experience in the mental health field and is passionate about serving others. Using various therapeutic modalities, Tanisha guides her clients on a journey toward emotional regulation. Tanisha specializes in trauma, depression, anxiety, grief, and significant life transitions. Tanisha is currently attending Walden University for her Ph.D. in Addictions and Social Work. Tanisha also received her Master’s in Social Work from Kennesaw State University and her Bachelor’s in Human Services with a minor in Psychology from Brewton-Parker College. Tanisha’s education coupled with her professional experience as a social worker and military commissioned officer in the Army has enabled her to provide services that support her client's needs. Tanisha utilizes multiple treatment modalities including mindfulness, cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), motivational interviewing, and solution-focused therapy.
