SHE IS THE BEST

I was very impressed with Dr. Gunsberger at my first visit. I was there for a surgical consultation, and she really took the time to explain everything to me. We also spoke about a heart problem I have, and she recommended a cardiologist to me to consult with before my surgery. She also ordered an EKG for me at the hospital next store to her office. Furthermore, she said she would follow-up with the Cardiologist about my situation, since he came to her office once a week. However, that communication never took place, and I was never told I would need clearance from the Cardiologist to proceed with my surgery. I didn't think to ask, since I've had this heart issue since I was a teenager, and it had never been an issue with other surgeries I've had. On the day of my surgery, I was having a lot of heart palpitations. I was all prepped and ready to go when the Anesthesiologist said he wasn't comfortable proceeding. Doctor Gunsberger then came in, and said I had never mentioned to… her that I had heart issues. What a disappointment! Either she, or her staff, had dropped the ball, but rather than admit an error was made, she put the blame on me. It was such a disappointment to learn she was just your "typical doctor" who acts as if she's incapable of making mistakes! Needless to say, I did not go back to her when it was time to reschedule my surgery.

Dr.Tanja L. Gunsberger is now my top favorite surgeon! I've been in many surgeries in the past but she is very different. She's very confident with her craft, very compassionate,sensitive to patient, give all the time you need to explain everything you have to know.I'm tired of being cut by the knife but now I know that if I have to do it all over again I know who to go to without second thoughts.I have so much faith in her that I wish I met her long time ago.I highly recommend her to anyone who had bad experiences in the past, promise you will not regret.

If you need a good diagnostician, this woman is NOT the one you should see! I waited for more than an hour--the clinic then billed me for a procedure I did not even have!
