Dr. Tanner's Brother’s Chiropractic Story

My twin brother and I have always been close, but growing up, I watched him struggle. He was diagnosed with scoliosis at a young age, with bouts of significant back pain. Doctors offered the traditional approach of prescription medications or major surgery that held its own risks. At just 12 years old, he faced an uncertain future with less than desirable medical options being offered. Our parents decided against surgery, but instead to explore Chiropractic care. When evaluating my brother’s condition, the chiropractic doctor found misalignments – subluxations – in my brother’s spine. They were restricting his nerves and sending the message of pain to his brain. The chiropractor explained how precise adjustments could shift my brother’s body into a better state of healing by clearing his neural pathways. His care plan included regular chiropractic adjustments, and he experienced less pain and felt better after each visit. Six years later, he was a competitive swimmer, earning a place on a top university swim team. Witnessing that change ignited a passion in me. Chiropractic care improved his health and quality of life. He continues to see a chiropractor to this day due to the benefits he receives.
