Dr Dhruva is an exceptional doctor with much caring and compassion

Dr. Dhruva cares for her patients. She was attentive and caring. A very thorough visit and I would recommend her.

In the first visit, Dr. Dhruva was only interested in the fact that I mentioned needing my birth control refilled. She told me that if I was trying to get pregnant it would take up to a year after I went off birth control (I had told her that my husband and I were waiting). (After speaking with my real OB, I was told that this was inaccurate information.) I insisted on having them renewed. My OB part of my exam (I did not have a separate OB at the time) was the first physically uncomfortable pap I've ever had. She told me that my cervix was weak and made me bleed slightly (I'd been seeing an OB for over 10 years at that point and had always been told I was perfectly healthy)! (This she also blamed on the birth control.) After that, I was asked for routine blood work because I was a new patient. Some of them came back slightly elevated and I was told that I needed to go off of all medication except those I was on for my chronic hives (so, just my anxiety meds and birth control)… and to eliminate ALL carbs from my diet. It was told to me in a way that made it seem extremely dangerous to not follow these instructions. I saw a specialist for my slightly elevated enzymes and was told that they were nothing to worry about and cleared me to go back on everything. When I went back to Dr. Dhruva, she continued to harp on my elevated enzymes (at this point, they had also gone down to normal). A few months later, my husband and I had decided to try to have a baby, but were concerned because my periods have always been extremely irregular (which is why I was on the birth control). I brought up this concern to her (the first doctor that I had ever had the nerve to really explain how bad it was). She dismissed it as a side effect of coming off birth control (even though it had been happening since I was 11, WAY before I went on birth control). I tried to explain this and she wouldn't listen to me. She insisted that I try to have a baby for at least a year before she would refer me to anyone else. That was when I decided to seek other help. I got a new OB who IMMEDIATELY sent me to a specialist because of my irregular period. Unfortunately, I needed Dr. Dhruva's referral because of the way my insurance worked. It took me weeks to get it and I eventually called and told them that I was coming directly to the office and would not leave without my referral. Finally got it and saw the specialist. It turns out that I have PCOS and needed IVF assistance in order to get pregnant. As a side-note, I was pregnant in a little over 6 months since I was off birth control. Had I left it up to Dr. Dhruva, I would have continued to live with PCOS and would not have been able to have children for at least another year or more. Thanks to my OB listening to me and immediately telling me Dr. Dhruva's medical advice was inaccurate, I was able to get the help I clearly needed.

I'm 57 year old female and Dr. Dhruva is very thorough with her examination and knowledge of her patients. When you go for a physical (wellness check) she checks you out head to toe. I am very happy and feel very safe with her as my Doctor

This doctor is not accurate on diagnostic of things

dr treats patients unfair since becoming a suboxen clinic. asks patients about other patients violates hippa ALOT ! Misdiagnosed a few time causing huge issues emergency surgery as well due to her misdiagnosis

She makes you feel uncomfortable, and makes you feel bad about yourself as well. After discussing with her about an eating disorder I had suffered from. she proceeded to tell me I was overweight and made me feel bad about myself.

dr druva failed to inform me that i had a return of a previously treated cancer.

I am 71 years old, and for the first time in my life I can honestly say I feel confident in a doctor. Dr. Dhruva is thorough, listens to my concerns,goes above and beyond to make sure I understand, is very patient, compassionate and caring. I feel that as far as she is concerned, it's the patient who matters and she has proven it by her excellent care.
