Dr. Tanveer Ahmad, MD

I made an appointment (My first with this doctor), drove 25 minutes out to Marengo to find no one at the office and note taped to the door that said the doctor won't be back until Monday. I received no call to let me know. I was automatically assigned this doctor through Medicaid but I will be changing my PCP.

I should have looked here FIRST before signing up with him !!

The most unprofessional doctor I've ever dealt with. Rude, lazy, condescending, and HORRIBLE bedside manner.

He only cares about your money and not your needs as a patient. I spent many hours in his office and spoke to him for less than 5 minutes. Everytime I tried to talk to him he just ignored me and walked out of the room and had his nurses do all the work. He should lose his license as a doctor and never help anyone ever again. The nurses barely speak English and ask your information about 10 times. Just a true SOB and scum of the earth.

Dr. Ahmad listens carefully, knows which tests to perform, and is thorough in interpreting and explaining the results of the tests. He has 25+ years experience and is knows a lot but also is not concerned if a patient asks for a referral to a specialist and he thinks it could help. My wife and I both go to him and wouldn't go to anyone else, unless some specialty was required.

Stay away from this unscrupulous, incompetent doctor. Has a deservedly poor reputation among patients and the greater community.

HE IS ALMOST ALWAYS AVAILABLE TO ME.

I came in and only had to wait about 15 minutes even though it was a busy day in the office with a lot of patients, the staff was friendly and professional, I got my diagnosis in no time. I would definitely recommend this doctor

I suffered from a condition for many years and had all kinds of tests done but no one could find the cause. Dr Ahmad cured me completely and I have been symptom free ever since. I would recommend him to every one.

Not aware of new techniques and procedures, very poor bedside manner.
