Tanveer Ahmad, MD, FACC, is the Head Cardiologist at Premier Choice Cardiology. He is board-certified in both Internal Medicine and Cardiology. He is an invasive cardiologist and performs diagnostic heart catheterizations. He is trained in the most advanced techniques of noninvasive cardiac imaging and echocardiography. He served as Director of the cardiac catheterization lab at Monmouth Medical Center-Southern Campus for many years in the past. He is currently on faculty as a teaching attending for the family medicine residency program at Ocean Medical Center. Tanveer Ahmad is a Fellow of the American College of Cardiology and a member of the American Society of Nuclear Cardiology.

Dr Ahmad explains everything step by step listens and answer's all of your question's and concerns, I put my life in his hands and he saved me, thank you for your caring.

Cardiology Associates offers the worst patient experience possible. Waiting times are very long--I waited 3 hours--and doctor time is limited. Dr. Ahmad's staff is the worst: uninformed and unresponsive. I left a message for his nurse three times and never received a call back. Trying to get test results back from them in any timely manner is like pulling teeth. I would recommend Cardiology Associates only to masochist who have heart issues!

Dr. Ahmad was almost 3 hours late for the appointment. The receptionist was completely uniformed. At about the second hour, she learned that Dr. Ahmad was running late due to an emergency. The poor communication does not end there. I've tried to get information from his nurse, but she does not answer calls. Clinically Dr. Ahmad is very good. From a business operations standpoint, his office could do much, much better.

Needed a quick appointment. Got an an apt in 3 days. Wait time a little long but Dr Ahmad was courteous and professional. Would definitely recommend.

What a pleasant doctor! Serious, yet friendly manners. Answered all my questions, and even though he kept the distance on my first visit, on my second visit (when I came to hear the results of all my tests), he hugged me after seeing how relieved I was of the good results. What a gentleman!
