Dr. Tanya Bhatia, MD

I had appointment to follow up my er visit.i told her my symptoms not improved, she started making assumptions and says basically its my fault, she doesn’t have idea what ethics is, labeled me , stigmatized, I felt so depressed already and I think she enjoys humiliating you as a patient, yells during conversation, her nonverbal expressions were rude, and she refused to listen my concerns. I looked my lab results it’s all “ abnormal “ but she has no idea what to do and how to treat ppl, I asked referral to specialist, answer “ no”. I think she doesn’t understand patients needs and don’t have empathy to ppl which is a key in patient- doctor communication. Negligence and dismissive attitude.

I got into the office 4 min late, even tho I was over 10 min early, because their check in kiosks were not working and an elderly man was holding up the line. The MA let me know the doctor took the patient after me, but would still be gracious enough to see me today. I waited in the waiting room for at least 5 minutes and got into the office 4 minutes after 9. On top of that, I'd requested prescription refills while I was waiting for the line to decrease, and Dr Bhatia needed to approve them. When I left over an hour later, without ever seeing her, they hadn't been approved, and now I don't have my prescriptions. I thought H Wang was horrible, but I changed doctors again today. Kaiser has been such a disappointment that last year I paid for a private doctor and a naturopath not covered by insurance. Unfortunately, I can't afford to keep a doctor who actually cares about helping me.

I would not refer this doctor because twice I was seen by her and she does not make me feel comfortable. No "Hello, how are you?" or other gestures that suggest she's interested in finding out what ails you. I went to the CHC, Everett, WA, because I've been depressed. When I mistook her for the mental health counselor & she said she was the doctor I was genuinely surprised. I apologized for my confusion and said that I would like to discuss a physical ailment. Dr. Bhatia actually refused ! Apparently due to 20 minute limit on office visit. However she would see me next month, just make an appt. on my way out. I walked from there feeling worse than when i walked. Very unsatisfactory.

Treated me wrong!

Dr.Bhatia is thoroughly professional doctor with excellent diagnostic ability.She is very clear in her treatment plan.The only draw back is that the waiting is very long as the allied health take a while to seat.But she is a great doc.

Dr.Bhatia is very patient and gets a very thorough history.She is very knowledgable and extremely resourceful.
