Dr. Tanya Edo Carter, DO

Dr Carter, did not address any concerns. She was too busy talking over me, and explaining what sweat is...not why my hands and feet are sweating profusely, also would not listen about my internal shivering...basically NO HELP, NO GOOD.

Dr. Carter has medical ethics that carry her line of work to the top. She knows medicine exceptionally well.

I was a patient of Dr Carter for a number of years. During that time I was so impressed with her attention to detail, relatability, how well she listened and her ability to make sure you understand. I keep hoping I will find that she has opened up or joined a new practice. I have had several family physicians before and after being her patient. No one comes close to the level of care she provided.

My favorite thing about her is her straightforward manner. She will give you a straight answer, and is never judgmental or confusing.

Dr Carter has been my primary care physician for more than a decade. I am always listened to carefully, treated with respect and given excellent care. When a situation requires more specialized care, I have been referred to outstanding referrals. Dr. Carter is my go-to for all my care and she does an outstanding job of keeping me in excellent health!

Absolutely horrible experience!!! From the receptionist to the doctor some of the rudist people I've ever had the displeasure of dealing with. If you want someone to make you feel like an inconvenience, this is the place. The only positive thing I can say is they can get you in quick, but with service so bad no wonder. I actually walked out after repeatedly being treated like a nuisance.

Due to a change in my residence, I decided to try another doctor that was closer to home. Long story short... I'll never leave Dr. Carter's care again. She's so worth the commute!

I like the fact that I get a reminder call before my appointment and I get a call when I am due for stuff. My life is so busy I don't have tome to keep track and it's like having my very own personal asseistant for health at the office.The staff is nice. For a while there were some peope there I did not like but the Dr. figured it out and fired them.I like the fact that I always get to seemy doctor not just anyone who is available. Some times same day appointments are hard to get but the docter ussually spends about 30 min with me so I do not mind waiting. I like the fact that I can e-mail.

I really like the office organization I was told what my copay would be and they looked up my benefits they gave me a courtesy call the day before my appointment and I love the they do not double book and seem to always be on timeI like that I can e-mail my doctor

I have been a patient of Dr. Carters for over 5 years. That relationship ended last week. To summarize: Before my appointment I realized that I had left my credit cards on the desk at home. I called Dr. Carter's office, to see if there would be any need for cash and/or checks at my visit(I was across the street from my bank). I was told there would not be. I arrived, was checked in, and began my appointment with the nurse. After a few tests, the nurse informed me that I continue to have the symptoms of a medical condition so severe that I had sought emergency care on Dr. Carter's recommendation the week before. While I was waiting for the next tests, the front office staff burst into my exam room, and demanded that I pay an outstanding bill for $31.50, or leave immediately. (You read that correctly-$31.50, the price of a nice lunch for two, or an oil change.) After explaining that I had called ahead, and also that I was sure that I had mailed them a check for that bill over a year… before, I was told that their staff was new, and so "makes mistakes". I asked for Dr. Carter, and was told that she had personally approved this decision. Wow.Upon returning home, in tears, I found that I had, indeed, mailed them a check last May for that bill. I was scared by what little information I had received, and had no idea where to turn.Dr. Carter chose to risk my health over $31.50, and poorly trained or incompetent staff. Learn from my mistake, don't risk your health.
