Dr. Tanya Y Evans

Continually a great experience and outcome. I was seen on time with no wait. Dr Evans is highly experienced and technically very adept at procedures like excisions with no pain, no complications, quick recovery, no scar (amazing really). Senior skin seems to require extra vigilance, and she has the know-how. Office is running smoothly (and I ran medical offices in LA so I know the difference). I consider myself lucky and privileged to receive dermatological medical services by someone of her very high calibre. It's hard to find in this subspecialty! J Brennan Laguna Woods

Went to see this doctor because it’s close to home. Before I went I Asked if she also treated psoriasis. I was told yes. She prescribed Otezla which gave me terrible headaches. I went for my third month appt. and was ushered into a freezing cold room after waiting in the lobby for 1/2 an hour. While in the freezing cold room I stayed there for another 40 minutes when I finally walked out. I am never going to this doctor again. I believe she specializes in cosmetic skin care more than more serious issues like psoriatic arthritis. I am now going to a rheumatologist and what a difference in the treatments and care. No more dermatologist for psoriasis for me.

After waiting months to see someone regarding simple melonoma skin check, it shouldn't in any country take several months to have basic skin checks. ridiculous.

Never returns phone calls for next steps on treatment. More than 1 hour wait for first morning appointment. Left me hanging on my treatment as what to do next and said I could find a new doctor. Prescribed steroid treatment for longer than typically used. Don’t go to her!

The doctor is very nonchalant about everything, she cannot pinpoint the issue(s) after multiple blood tests and several visits she has yet to determine how to help my daughter. The wait is too long, they constantly reschedule your appointments, they do not return your calls and when you ask them why are you not returning my calls they give you attitude? REALLY? The medications are super expensive, but their pharmacy (Choice) always suggest to call the doctor to prescribe a cheaper medicine! Cannot the Doctor do that to begin with so we do not have to deal with your unresponsive staff? Please don’t waste your time, there are plenty of other doctors with better staff.

Four months to get an appointment?

One star is too generous. Dr. Evans does not care about her patients at all. My husband has severe Chron's and went to the ER 5 times under her "care". Within an week of a new doctor, he was given a long term steroid to keep him out of the hospital. She never returns calls. Dr. Evans only cares about making money and will keep her patients sick to do so. Stay away for your own health.

I have been to office 3 times. The first time waited over an hour, second time 30 minutes and today after waiting 45 minutes decided to walk out without seeing dr. Evan's or staff. My time is just as valuable as theirs. Will not return.

Dr. Evans is very nice, good bedside manners, knowledgeable and attentive. However her office is very busy. Patients usually wait for many weeks for an appointment, then office manager calls and reschedules for later day, even if you have a lesion which is suspicious for cancer. Highly recommended if you prepared to wait for non-urgent condition.

St the time I had an hmo and Dr Evans was on my lust of providers( which was extreley small for dermo) I never saw her. I made an appointment with Her, wrnt in saw her assistant , they attempted a biopsy then called to say it wasnt deep enough and Dr Evans recommended a more involved procedure. She Never even saw me! Never talked to her , nothing. Would not go back. Her assistant wasn't that capable either.
