Dr. Tanya S Futoryan, MD

Dr. Futoryan is the most unprofessional and rude doctor I have ever seen! I am embarrassed that I let her tell me how “old and saggy” I looked and talk me into not 1 but 2 $3000 treatments that yielded no results. I am so disappointed. She bullies you and then steals your money all the while trying to continue to sell, sell, sell more even when you share your disappointment. Save yourself and go elsewhere and be treated with dignity and respect.

Really really wish she cared about her patients and not just making money. She has no interest in the medical profession. She only has interest in beautifying people which is nice that’s all you care about but health is important. And she’s very rude, keeps you waiting a ridiculous amount of time and I’m so disappointed that I wasted the last two years on her. I would not recommend her to anybody.

She only cares about doing Botox and beauty. She no longer wants to do anything medical like acne or skin checks, even for long time patients. She has kept me waiting for over an hour multiple times, she cancels or changes appt times the day before and sometimes the day of! She does not care about other people’s time. I’m so disappointed in her as a doctor and person.

Dr. Futoryan is highly skilled in her use of injectable fillers and Botox. She's been treating me for over 5 years and I've been incredibly pleased with the results. I supplement that with regular cycles of Laser Genesis treatments which have been wonderful for my skin -- it glows and the texture is terrific! I'm on my second cycle of micro-needling; another treatment I like and which has improved the texture and tautness of my skin. It's absolutely an investment but I always get compliments from people who want to know what my skin routine is. I'm not a product maven but I do like her moisturizing serum and plan to try the infusion facial.

I had never had a cosmetic procedure, when a friend recommended an IPL to me take care of sun damage on my face. I was looking for an MD because I wanted to be certain the sun damage was limited to cosmetic damage. Dr. Futoryan and the entire staff demonstrated a level above anything I could have expected. They listened to my needs, understood my concerns and took care of me without any pressure. I am sure to be a patient for life.

I’ve been going to Westport dermatology and Laser for almost three years now and have had nothing but positive results. I go for both general and cosmetic dermatology and am very happy with my experiences there. Initially I met with Nurse Cindy who helped develop a cosmetic plan. Cindy is great nurse whom is warm, personable and knowledgable and has also done some wonderful lasers on me. Meredith is also a wonderful, personable nurse whom has successfully done lasers on me as well. They have a great staff all around. My first cosmetic procedure was Sculptra. Sculptra is a great product. If you follow the suggested protocol you will get beautiful natural results and will eventually look like a more refreshed, younger version of yourself. Results won’t happen over night, but gradually you will get a very natural, beautiful result. I am very pleased with my outcome. Dr Futuryan is an expert injector and very skilled which is what you must have when using Sculptra. She will make… great suggestions and knows how to achieve the results you are looking for. Dr Futuryan also gives me very thorough annual body checks. I trust her with all my dermatological needs. You will be very pleased with Wesport Dermatology and Laser!
