Dr. Tanya Nicol Johnson

I saw Dr. Johnson and her assistant this week for the 1st time and I was very happy with both of them.I would recommend her to anyone. Well worth the trip.

I went to her Amherst office for pain on the bottom of my foot and the whole office was unprofessional. The Medical assistants suggested that I buy an expensive boot that went half way up my leg for the pain I was experiencing and when I declined the medical assistant started yelling at me for declining. When the doctor came into the room she rushed me along and didn’t even tell me my appointment was over she just walked out the room. When I had my follow up I found out that my scar tissue from previous surgeries was the source of my problem though it has never bothered me before. She basically told me oh well get over it but when I expressed that I worked long hours standing on my feet the whole time and could I get a note to allow me to sit for a second if the pain is too intense she went off on me saying that I should just be happy I have a job instead of trying to sit because there are plenty of people who can’t find jobs. Mind you I went to her because I was having pain while… standing and only requested a note to sit for a minute when the pain is too intense. I wouldn’t wish this doctor on my worst enemy. She wasted my time and money and I left with no resolution to my problem. If I could give a zero star review I would.

I absolutely love Dr Johnson. She is so down to earth and easy to talk to and understand. She knows her stuff. And she takes her time with you. She is great in my book.
