Dr. Tanya Ann Wiese, DO

Tanya flat out told me I was dying less than 5 minutes after we met in 2020. Fortunately, she was wrong. I did not have what she called "Stage 4, inoperable lung cancer.". I have, instead, a very treatable, in remission (no cancer) NHL (Lymphoma). If you can't be a better diagnostician at least learn a couple wiggle words, Tanya, like, "It could be..." or "it may possibly..." or "Without more testing we can't be sure but..."

My mother was a patient at Norton Brownsboro Hosoital. She was scheduled to have a broncialscope performed by Dr. Wiese, when my mother was taken downstairs they immediatley sent her back up and came to say they wouldn’t be performing the procedure because she wasn’t aware she needed special pre treatment medications that she wasn’t familiar with. She wouldn’t allow us to explain the simplicity of giving her the specialty meds, and that we have them with us as it has to come from a specialty pharmacy. She wasn’t willing to consult with her specialist on how she could go ahead with the procedure despite us having 24 hour access to his personal cell so it would have only taken moments, and instead of just admitting that she was unfamiliar with her condition and it scared her, which I would have respected, she made up a big tale about me and stated that she wasn’t doing it for family dynamics, instead of her original admission that she hadn’t taken the time to look at her chart and see… what she had and therefore known she would have needed to pretreat with special meds, she insulted me for no reason whatso ever and made false allegations about me, stating that she had signed reports from members of her endo team, which I had never even seen, as I had been downstairs in the emergency room myself after having a health emergency. Therefore being slandered, verbally abused, and my mother not receiving treatment amounts to a very unethical physician who has not heard the last of this incident. I do not recommend this physician in any way shape or form. We have never had such an abuse from anyone, let alone a physician who shouod always hold themselves to a high professional standard, in our lives and have been in numerous facilities. Avoid at all costs. Lovely hosoital and staff otherwise.

Met Dr. Wiese while a patient at Norton Brownsboro. She initiated a fluid drain from my lung and a broncial scope biopsy. I received results from her office as soon as they were available and picked up my meds the same day. The next app't was scheduled at this time. Her demeanor is aggressive and very reassuring. I could not be more satisfied.
