Dr. Tao Yue Zhu, MD

I wnet to the emergency room by ambulance having cut two of my fingers on my table saw. Dr. Zhu saw me promptly, cleaned the wound.numbed it and stitched it so after healing it left no scar at all. I'm amazed and grateful.

I think the other review is a little unfair. The doc is not warm and fuzzy, he does his job and gets things done. His demeanor is a little bit like you’re stupid but I wouldn’t take it personally. He offered me pain medicine, and when I expressed concern about its addictiveness, he offered an alternative. Despite his lack of facial expressions or warmth, he does care. I don’t think it’s reasonable to expect overworked doctors working the ER at wee hours of the morning to be spewing rainbows all day.

Totally disinterested, surprised he didn't yawn. I know back pain isn't exciting, but I went to the ER after having a lumbar fusion at the same hospital. No exam, told me I had a herniated disc, no xray or review of xrays, just looked at me with disgust and asked "what do you want?". I said, excuse me? And he asked if I wanted a shot or pills or what. So nice to be treated as a drug addict when I'm in excruciating pain, laying in the bed crying. Awesome experience. PS - I am a certified coder and this guy overbills as well. Billed a higher level than the hospital. Probably because he went above and beyond for me, lol!
