Dr Tara Atta was wonderful! She answered all my questions. Dr Atta was very professional and thoughtful. Great doctor!

With all due respect Dr Atta came to our first session with prejudice having read my records and determined not to see me again, her reasons already formulated in her mind. My idea was to have a conversation with her about my past and present concerns. There was no ‘History’ permitted whatsoever on my part, however SHE did speak about my ‘History’ in a derogatory manner, telling me that she would not see me again. I could only return to see her nurse. From that point forward all i received, for the nexr few minutes, was nothing more than an intense desire not to ever see me again. This was a session with an ANGRY Physician protecting her Colleagues and herself. No relationship was worth her while to a new elderly patient, perhaps with a need to see a different Physician.

Our encounter with Dr. Atta was mercifully brief. That is the most positive thing I can say about it. She barked stress-test results to us while plowing through a hallway—sharing confidential medical information in a public area. She never stopped moving to introduce herself, allow questions, or ensure that we understood anything she said. Her manner was rude, dismissive, and condescending. She then offered opinions well outside her specialty area. I have never encountered a physician who behaved this way. After seeing numerous similar complaints in her reviews, it’s apparent that this behavior is not an isolated incident. I am stunned that Endeavor Health continues to allow a provider with such consistently poor patient-care experiences to remain in a role that requires compassion, communication, and professionalism. This experience reflects poorly not only on Dr. Atta but on the health system as a whole—and it has left me questioning whether I want to remain in their care.

Outstanding cardiologist who is kind & compassionate

This is the worse doctor I have ever seen. She does not listen AT ALL and is indifferent. I felt unheard during my visit, which lasted less than 10 minutes. I could not even start a sentence. It seemed as though she was merely eager to get rid of me. After reviewing numerous reviews about her just now, I have learned an important lesson: it is wise to read reviews before scheduling an appointment with a doctor. If you even consider this person a doctor. Very unprofessional and unethical. I truly don’t understand, especially after reading all these reviews, why Northshore hasn’t fired her.

Dr. Atta is the worst doctor I have ever encountered. She is mean, condescending, and avoids treating her patients. Dr. Atta does not review your medical history, test results, or concerns unless prompted to do so. She is not clear when answering questions and will make assumptions without all of the information. She is dangerous and negligent.

Wow, if you want a doctor that is rude, uncaring and not professional this is the one! Refused to speak to or examine the patient who was feeling terrible at this visit. All because we did not have a test result from March. This was never requested in the multiple text or email confirmations. We waited 3 months to get this visit and this doctor refused us at the appointment!

She did not listen or ask one question during out appt. She rattled off a bunch of things she read prior to coming in about my history. Made me feel dumb for asking questions and a waste of time to be seen. Had a question about calcification on mammogram that suggested cardiac risk per report from radiologist. She said that wasn't her area. Why was I there to follow up then?!!!! Will choose a different doctor next time.

Dismissed everything I had to say, didn’t listen at all.

I am writing this review in behalf of my husband and myself. We both had an appt with Dr. Atta today. She is extremely knowledgeable in not just cardiology, but general health. She was very detailed with each of us and out our minds at ease. She was caring and compassionate. We feel fortunate to have found her.
