Dr. Tara A. Cherry, MD

A trip to the gynecologist is not exactly something I look forward to, but oh my goodness Dr. Cherry makes it so comfortable and easy. She is a sweet woman who takes plenty of time to talk to you and listen to your concerns. I really felt heard, understood, and respected. Thank you so much Dr. Cherry!

She is the best doctor. She is really very caring and patient. I had a surgery and she was excellent. I am so happy that I found her. I will stay with her forever.

Dr. Tara Cherry is a wonderful person n very Knowledgeable, she knows her stuff , very helpful and positive ... I believe her 200% I highly recommend Dr Tara Cherry ... With Dr .Cherry believe me you are in safe hands and just relax ....

I liked Dr. Cherry for most of my pregnancy. She was friendly and caring. I feel that she tried her best to cheer me up when she thought I might be depressed. However, I feel it necessary to let anyone considering Dr. Cherry as her OB know some things that should not have happened in my last trimester. 1) She did not take my 8-pounds-in-one-week weight gain seriously. She chalked it up to too much food on Thanksgiving. (I had not eaten very much.) 2) I was not given instructions to make an appointment after my due date if I hadn't delivered. I don't know if this is because she was sure I would go into labor at any time or she just forgot... 3) She failed to give me her instructions on the urine-collection test for preeclampsia. Apparently she wanted me to start immediately, while the instructions given to me by the lab said start with the first morning void. I don't know if all this happened because of the preoccupations associated with the holiday season or not, but I am… sorry to say that if I get pregnant again, I will not go to Dr. Cherry, or any other ARC doctor. I had my reservations after visiting St. David's South, but, at the time, I liked Dr. Cherry, so I stayed with her. I will definitely trust my instincts from now on.

Dr. Cherry takes the time to help you feel comfortable during the exam. She will explain each part of the exam so you understand the purpose of what she's doing. I'd recommend her to anyone but she's definitely good for new patients that haven't experienced a gyno exam before.

I don't need the OB part, but Dr. Cherry is an awesome gynocologist. She is easy to talk to, makes you feel comfortable and secure and really cares about your well-being. I highly recommend Dr. Cherry.

Dr. Cherry is awesome! I felt very connected when we first met. I like that she showed interest in how to help me with my situation and was very positive and knowledgeable and layed out all my choices in detail. I have already recommended her to many of my family and friends.

Dr. Cherry was knowledgeable and skillful re: my condition and treatment for same. She was extremely courteous and patient, istened to and accurately addressed all my concerns. She never concluded her visits with me without first asking if there was anything further she could assist me with.
