September 2023: My experience at this dental office was extremely disappointing. I wanted this to be my dental home and was willing to drive a distance for quality care. I had two dental crowns done and had issues with both. The first one, I was told the permanent crown would be done in approximately 3 weeks. No one from the office kept me updated and I received limited information when I called. I waited over a month to get the crown and have been disappointed with the fit. Per Dr. Griffin, the crown would significantly reduce the food trap issue I was having. There has been no change, in fact it seems worse. For the second one, I was quoted a price of around $1100 but when I had the procedure completed, I was informed I owed approximately $ 500 more. I also had issues with the temporary crown. When you call the office, you are told someone will call you back - they don’t. When you are in the dental chair, there is constant chatting between the dentist and her staff mostly… regarding school issues related to the Magnet School and The School of the Arts. You are in the chair wondering if any attention is being paid to your tooth after spending a great deal of money for a dental service. This office is not patient centered nor is the care of quality standards. This seems like a hobby or girls group where the staff and the dentist go to chat about their lives. Don’t go here if you are seeking quality care.
