Dr. Tara Brook Hasenpflug, DO

I have seen her 5 times. I have never been more frustrated with a doctor in my life. I would not recommend her to anyone for anything. She is extremely passive aggressive and anything you ask for she will not write. My chiropractor has provided evidence via x-rays and MRI's and she doesn't care. Why would anyone continue to pay someone only to be told no to every request they have? Doctors like her should not be in medicine.

I have seen Dr. Hasenpflugh once. I left my previous physician because she joined VIP Medicine. On my first (and only) visit to Dr. Hasenpflugh I had a number of small complaints. I also had/have a chronic pain issue. When I asked if she could help with a mild painkiller and a muscle relaxer as my previous G.P. had, she informed me that she would not prescribe schedule 1&2 drugs. Fine. I ruminated on what to do next, and while I was thinking out loud a bit, she told me 4 more times that she would not prescribe for my pain. At this point I felt as though she had assumed I was chasing pain killers. I left that day wondering what to do about my pain(s). In the following week, I got a call from a pain management clinic she had referred me to. I went to the appointment and the Dr. not only had no trouble writing my prescriptions, but from my prescription history he declared that he could see that I was not abusing the meds, and suggested increasing my daily dosage of both. He also told me… any doctor could write these prescriptions. I have to say, I have not been back to Hasenpflugh, and doubt I will. Doctor’s that make assumptions, even though they have mounds of paper evidence before them, that a patient is only chasing drugs are not to my liking. I have had chronic pain issues for over 20 years. Her dismissal of my pain and deference to another’s judgement about my pain did not set well. I will seek out a new physician for my general care.

dr hasenpflug is a very caring d.o. she used be with utica park clinic she went to OSU i went to were she moved she always explains to me what is going on with me i have been with her since 2015 i highly recommend doctor h. her staff is excellent and caring there is no other doctor for me thanks so much dr.h i give her 5***** rating NICKY SPATAFORA

I've been with Dr. Hasenpflug for a few years now. Her diagnostic skills are great. Her bedside manner is second to none. She's kind. She isn't condescending. One of the best Primary care physicians I've ever had. She has made my experience with medical professionals very positive. You would be hard-pressed to find someone better in Tulsa.

I love Dr. Hasenpflug. She's fairly new and I had the same doctor for 15 years but I am SO happy I switched to her. I've only seen her three times but every time it's been about a chronic issue and she spends time talking about her recommendations and medications I can start on and her ideas. She is extremely timid, which can be taken for shyness but she is actually very funny once you get to know her. Her nurses are awesome as well. Very quick and easy to get a same day appointment.
