Why I chose to pursue a career in healthcare:I have always had a desire to care for others. Prior to advanced practice I was an ICU nurse for many years and also worked on the Rapid Response team at WellSpan York Hospital. I pursued an advance practice degree to further my commitment to health promotion and patient outcomes.What I want my patients to know about me:I am committed to patient safety and providing high quality care. I believe in lifelong learning and enjoy educational opportunities.What I do when I'm not seeing patients:I have a love for ceramics! When not seeing patients I am often at the community studio where I create items or take a new art class. I enjoy traveling with my friends. I have a wonderful family with my husband, 3 children and 2 goldendoodles!
