Summary
Why I chose to pursue a career in healthcare:I come from a family practice background and was excited to get involved in endocrinology because I liked that it was applicable to any area of medicine. I also was interested because I have a family history of diabetes.What I want my patients to know about me:I'm from the area, went to school around here, and did my master's degree program here. I wanted to help the people I grew up around. I'm looking forward to seeing and getting to know many people from different walks of life. I'm also excited to learn the different facets of the organization and collaborate on how we can help our patients.What I do when I'm not seeing patients:I like to be active and try to make time to exercise. I also like to spend time outside and try different sports.
