Although she has a brilliant mind and is the only one who was able to figure out my diagnosis after multiple people failed, she has a severe lack of manners and does not try to empathize or make an effort to listen to her patient. She would confusingly compliment me and then next insult or invalidate my answers to questions she asked (an incredibly unprofessional thing to do). She also tends to gaslight frequently and does not go with the option that makes the patient feel most comfortable but rather what she only wants to do, despite calm complaints of certain treatments/medications horribly worsening quality of life. You go to a doctor to find relief from your pain, not to find yet ANOTHER person demanding you to push through it and ignore it because "others have it worse and you aren't special" in her own (very invalidating) words. I recommend that you seek treatment through an actual neurologist (not nurse practitioner like her) who cares by listening to your child and believing… their pain, because she certainly did not do that with me and my parents. She should NOT be working with children or any sort of patient if she does not put their emotional and physical wellbeing first.
