Dr. Tara Shelby Sextonoller, MD

This doctor signed off on an inaccurate diagnosis of a broken foot (deemed it sprained). I never even saw her face. Six months later and I am increasing unable to walk properly.

Tara Shelby Sexton, MD, Fri, at Jan 4, 2019, in ED NYU Langone Brooklyn Hospital having shown negligence and behavior unworthy of a doctor, refused me the necessary diagnostic and treatment and threw me out of the hospital in a state of progressive stroke with a wrong diagnosis.

Tara Sexton was the doctor on call I saw after my brother came by way of ambulance suffering a psychotic episode. She was rude, condescending and offered me no information on what had happened or how they were treating him. She took the words of someone in a manic state as gospel, and made an inaccurate assesment based on arrogance instead of medical expertise. My brother was in fact sober, and she asserted he was intoxicated with stimulants on no basis...never performed blood work....no toxicology report whatsoever. Complete idiocy! They negligently then released my brother in less than 12 hours when in fact he needed psychiatric treatment. I’ve never seen such lack of empathy and care at a hosptital. She should have her license revoked. If not now, by the court when her negligence causes real damages and there’s a lawsuit.

This doctor did not care. She was the worst doctor I dealt with In the hospital. The other doctors there were nice except her. Too nervous and bossy to the staff. She didn't have everything together worst experience ever for me.
