Summary
Life is often full of changes/transitions and I am here to support you with navigating these times of growth. I typically take a cognitive-behavioral (CBT) approach but am also trained in other theoretical perspectives if CBT is not a good fit. I believe treatment is not a "one-size fits all" and needs to be personalized to each individual seeking services. I truly enjoy working with people to support their growth as they learn new coping skills, expand on what they already know or just become more empowered with best utilizing the potential within their own life.
I am an LICSW who attended Smith College School for Social Work. I have over 10 years of experience across a variety of settings (in the school, office and hospital).I am specially trained in TF-CBT (trauma focused- cognitive behavioral therapy) but also enjoy working with people through anxiety, depression and life transitions. I am able to conduct sessions in English or with American Sign Language.
