Dr. Tarang Sharma, MD

If you are in the Columbus area, go to the James Cancer Center and not Dr. Sharma. I made the mistake in thinking they were the same. She is about 20 years behind in her approach to treating thyroid cancer. Save yourself time, money and stress- avoid her!

My friend recommended this doctor, so I thought I will try and see, if it’s going to be a good doctor for me. My first visit they scheduled me to come in and draw my blood, then they told me that I have to see a different doctor, when I replayed that I don’t want another doctor. I told them ok I will see this other this one time, but I want dr Tarang Sharma, because that is who I came to see. Next thing this other doctor comes and tel me since I don’t want him to be my doctor, that I need reschedule my visit. I went to the front desk and asked the lady, to reschedule and also asked if the blood work still will be processed and she said yes it will be. Today I came to see Dr Sharma Tarang and checked in as always and was waiting for my name to be called. After a wile the guy came out dressed like Constractor worker and calling my name. I stand up and followed him. Thaw minute I worked in he tells me that, because I don’t see a doctor last time that he needs to draw blood again, where I… replied that I was told that it will be. He I don’t know who told you this, but without need seen by the dr it can’t be processed. I asked him if I can speak to doctor to find out why was I been treated this way. I told her everything above and also told her why is nursing stuff dressed like that. Where she replied that it’s a Friday free dress code day. Then she told me seems that you so unhappy right now that no matter what she will tell it will be not enough to make me happy and that I need to find another doctor. She didn’t tell sorry or what can I do to make it right, she just said find another doctor. On my way out she told her front desk lady to reimburse my copay and when I was waiting I decided to ask that lady in front why she told me that my blood work will still processed where she replied, I didn’t say that. It got me even more upset, because it was a lie. I left the office and I was so upset that olmost got into a car accident. Very unprofessional do not recommend

Out of date, way behind, very rude.

Terrible terrible

Dr S utilizes the website contact form to communicate between visits. This has been a godsend since the drive is quite far to see her. A more caring and astute, learned and compassionate endocrinologist is not to be found. My readings finally are under control, proving her expertise. She responds to questions via the com form the SAME DAY! Who else does that? Very grateful to her for all her help!

Very outdated 15 years behind on any thyroid issues

Is not up to date on thyroid scale!!! Would not recommend anyone to her !!!!!!!!!!!

Is not updated !!!! Still going off of the old thyroid scale which was changed in 2001 ??? She has no idea what she is doing ð??±

Went in for slow thyroid condition. Come to find out she is still going off of a scale that has been out of date since 2003!!!! That is way to out of date very sad wish they would tell you up front if the doctor is up to date on medical science ð??³ð???
