Dr. Taraz Motamedi

Dr. Taraz Motamedi is an outstanding dentist and his staff are absolutely caring and respectful toward patients. We had several dentists in the past until I saw him years ago for an urgent dental care. I received an excellent care and since then he became our family dentist. We were really fortunate to meet him. He explained the procedure the way that I understood and after the procedure he discussed preventive care in detail. He is a very knowledgeable dentist, truly honest and passionate person, his office is extremely clean, and his staff are very respectful. We moved to another state for a few years and saw other dentists but none of them were as professional and knowledgeable as Dr. Motamedi. As soon as we moved back we found him and he became our dentist again. Our kids are grown and out of the house now but my husband and I never go to another dentist even though his office is far from our house. I sincerely and without any hesitation recommend Dr. Motamedi and can't thank him… enough for his excellent job. You are the best!

Bad experience.

My brother and I have been going to Dr. M all my life. I haven’t been to another dentist. My parents and grandmother have been going to him for decades. He is amazing. He cares about the appearance of your smile and will never lie to you. I’ve known his associates Gina and Shaku for years as well. All the staff are kind and sweet. Office is beautiful and so clean you could eat off the floor. I love Dr. Motamedi. Always treats his patients with respect. He is a very kind and smart man who I’m always happy to see every 6 months for my cleaning. :)

This dentist has seemingly found a cavity every year, however, when I got checked up by another reputable dentist I found out I was getting scammed. How can cavities disappear? In addition, this dentist decided to do cosmetic shaping on my front teeth without my consent and now those teeth are extremely weak. If you want to keep your normal healthy teeth please avoid this dentist. I've known him since 2008 and his practices have only gotten worse.

I found Doctor Motamedi's address on the internet and made an appointment to take care of a couple of problems that I had with my teeth. First of all the office was beautiful and spotless. The staff at the front desk were nice and very polite and made me comfortable while I was waiting to see the Doctor. Although this was my first visit, Doctor Motamedi was very nice and friendly and welcomed me to his office. He listened to me very patiently and spent much more time than I expected to examine my teeth and tell me what was the problem.. He described the treatment plan to me and took care of the problems nicely. He did an excellent job and I came out of his office happy and without pain. I had a very good experience with Doctor Motamedi and I highly recommend him.

My tooth broke on Friday and I was in a bad pain on Saturday. Dr. Motamedi was my dentist so I called his office asked him if he could see me that day and he agreed. He spent good amount of time fixing the tooth. He did such a great job with passion that I thank him for ever! This was not the first time he showed how much he care about his patients. He has been our dentist for years and each time we are impressed with his excellent job, his spotless and clean work environment, his great interactions and professional attitude toward his patients. My family and I love him and love his outstanding job. Our children are grown up now but sometimes they fly back to see Dr. Motamedi for their dental care!

This so called dentist has ruined my mouth! He said I needed 6 crowns and I believed him. All of the crowns did not fit right were made poorly and now my bite is off. I can't chew food properly and my front teeth are now protruding! I was told by another dentist if I wanted straight teeth that were aligned properly because Taraz screwed up do badly I would have to get braces! I'm so miserable and upset with myself that I believed this con artist. May have to seek legal advice.

Visited Dr. Motamedi three times a couple years back. He excepted all types of insurance, but I still paid mostly out of my own pocket as my company at the time had a rather poor dental insurance plan. He told me that I had two cavities and that I would need fillings while I was having a routine cleaning. I've only ever had a couple cavities as a kid long ago so I was a bit surprised, but I believed him and scheduled an appointment for the procedure. Got the fillings (and boy was my mouth sore) and came back again six months later for another cleaning. He then informed me that I had seven cavities. SEVEN! He insisted that we take care of the seven cavities as soon as possible. He also told me that I had a nice smile and that it would be more "dazzling" if I would consider whitening my teeth... I felt like I was in a commercial or something. Of course this was another procedure he offered in-house. I never once had a dentist tell me that. To this day, he has been the only… dentist to ever suggest that to me. In a panic, I went to see another dentist who assured me that I didn't have any cavities, let alone seven. I am convinced that Dr. Motamedi tries to make as much money off of his patients as possible, even at the expense of their health. I would never recommend him to anyone.

Dr. Taraz and his team were FANTASTIC! I have been suffering from severe tooth ache for weeks and went to couple of dentists in Center City Philadelphia but no one was able to help me out with my root canal until I visited Dr. Taraz. His office staff was very helpful with my appointment, his dental assistant was extremely nice and Dr. Taraz was EXCELLENT to say the least. He is very professional, explains the procedures and answers your questions, makes you feel very comfortable and it is very obvious that he is very good at what he does and enjoys doing it. At every other dentist I've been to in the past decades, and I must say I have been to many from East to West Coast, I felt like it was just business for them. At Dr. Taraz's office, everyone, especially Dr. Taraz made me feel like they really care. I am never going back to any other dentist, now that I have found Dr. Taraz and his staff.
