Tarek Hammad, MD

Dr. Tarek Hammad is a cardiovascular disease specialist with additional training in interventional cardiology. He earned his medical degree from the University of Tishreen Faculty of Medicine and completed his residency at St. Louis University Hospital in 2013. Dr. Hammad pursued extensive fellowship training, including programs at UH Cleveland Medical Center and the University of Texas Health Science Center, completing his specialized training in 2021. With 18 years of medical experience, he brings comprehensive expertise to complex heart conditions. He is fluent in both Arabic and English.

Dr. Hammad practices at multiple University Hospitals locations throughout Ohio, including Beachwood, Mentor, Twinsburg, Hudson, and Geneva, with a hospital affiliation at Cleveland Clinic Hillcrest Hospital. His clinical focus includes treating high blood pressure conditions, including hypertensive emergencies and pediatric hypertension cases. He performs advanced cardiac procedures such as heart …catheterizations and coronary angiograms. Dr. Hammad also provides sedation services for patients undergoing cardiac interventions.
