Dr. Hassanein is very good.

I love the Coronado staff but Hassanein? This guy has had me waiting on him from an hour up to 4 hours. Why schedule someone for a 6:30am procedure then you don’t even get in the building until 9:30am? Then when he’s in the room he’s there for 5-10 minutes then he’s out - his assistant does the follow up. I want another doctor so bad.

Patient at El Cajon office: Unreal wait time, doesn't listen to patient, I thought the staff was great. But him? Not going back.

I absolutly love Dr. T. hassanien and all his wonderful staff, coronado, alpha surgury center clinical research @ coronado. Not only am I cured of geno type 3 treatment resistant hep c , I am still putting my medical needs in his hands. I was scheduled for an Endoscopy yesterday and I was an hour late. They didnt even say a word about me being late they just smiled and it wasnt ten minuites and i was on my way into the prep area for my proceedure. I love those people down there ay Alpha surgury center, Susie Cristine every single one of them are angels sent from heaven. Dr Hassanein is the most pleasant and understanding human being I have eber known. He doesnt judge, his only goal is to getI owe him a ton. I am hep C free and am on my way to getting thru this stage 4 schirosis, My liver is already on its way to repairing itself and I look and feel better than I have in years. Long waits for appt. Generally over 30 minutes.

The administrative staff is dismal. Twice they failed to approve refills of meds my wife needs, even after I called them and they assured me they would respond to my insurance company. My wife needs these meds to keep her liver functioning so this borders on medical malpractice.

He is good at what he does. I see his nurse practitioner more than him. Tom has a great med side manner and truely makes me feal important and that he cares. The main problem is the hit and miss of his support staff, some good, some down right incompatant, but to be fair they seem to wead out the bad ones pritty quick

Kept waiting more than 90 minutes for both visits, as was my husband for his. Barely acknowledged me when I was wheeled into operating room. His staff appears unorganized and poorly trained, they don not have customer service skills.

I experienced pretty much everything horrible you'll read in this site, hopefully unlike me you'll see the BEFORE considering Hassanein. Twice I showed up for appointments and the office was closed, door locked. The man didn't even bother to introduce himself or talk to me while I was on the table and I still don't have results. There are so many good doctors out there, find someone competent that actually takes an interest in patients health and results of his/her work. You won't find that here, unbelievably bad medical practice, should be reviewed by licensing board.
