Dr. Tarek Omar Persaud, MD

Dr. Persaud saw me immediately on a Friday afternoon for retina tear. He has been very kind, professional, and caring during my follow up appointments. I would highly recommend both Dr Persaud & Dr Byrne.

Dr Persaud saw my wife today. Headache and diminished vision in one eye had other doctors stumped. Dr Persaud entered the room and talked with my wife. He worked to understand the situation. He then examined her and took it upon himself to get her the tests and treatment on a late Friday afternoon when many practices had closed early. Thank you sir, you are a true healer.

Dr Persaud was patient and explained the procedure and post op in detail. He was not in a big fat hurry either. I appreciated that.

Dr. Persaud treated my rather significant retinal detachment. What impressed me from the start was that he said to me, "I'm sorry this happened to you." He understood how devastating this was. He operated on it and gave excellent follow up care. I could not ask for better.

Lacks common courtesy. Downright rude.

Tarek was put-off by my presence. After a 3 minute rant of what was not wrong with me, he asked if he had covered what I needed. I said no and things went more sour from there. He walked out the room without a salutation.

Dr. Persaud is an excellent doctor. He always knows what he is talking about and takes care of things the right way. The appointment overall is always great! I would definitely recommend him to others, for eye appointments.

Dr Persaud is a wonderful doctor and so kind and caring as well.
