Dr. Tarek Mohamed Sallam, MD

A few nights ago I needed to find a walk in clinic quickly. I stumbled upon this one. At first the staff was pleasant and welcoming, which is why I believe they deserve at least one star. However, as soon as Dr Sallam entered the room he was EXTREMELY unprofessional and started off by telling me “I came in on a bad day” because they were busy. He then proceeded to look at my infected toe and immediately took out a blade and told me he was going to have to drain it. I wasn’t expecting this and expressed hesitation. I asked for a local anesthetic as I don’t handle pain well. He refused. I felt completely violated as he cut through my big toe as I screamed and cried In agony begging him to stop. He wouldn’t, it even seemed like he was enjoying it. Completely arrogant and unpleasant and I don’t think what he did actually helped my toe at all. OH and at the end of the appointment he forced me to get on the scale(?) and proceeded to mock me about not wanting to know my weight and made me… feel extremely uncomfortable. AVOID IF YOU CAN.

Horrible experience dr SALLAM this doctor decided to clean my ear without the proper equipment and burst an inner ear vein the procedure was extremely painful almost unbearable..got home after 5 min my ear was bleeding none stop my wife had to rush with me to the ER ,, I will never see this doctor again ..,

My husband when in to this office for a cold and this barbarian DR SALLAM decided to clean his ear without the proper equipment and burst a blood vessel in his inner ear wall ..we ..had to rush after this visit to the emergency room in the hospital ..please don't visit this office you can end up with a worse situation..

This doctor is one of the best doctorrs i have seen . he knows his stuff The office and his staff were great .

He is wonderful, staff was great. I will be back to see him again

Dr. Sallam is one of the best doctors I have ever seen! Not only is he a veritable magician with a needle (no one can compare when drawing blood and never before in my life have I received a tetanus shot that I didn't feel nor experience any soreness afterward) but his follow-up and thoroughness are excellent! In addition, Dr. sallam is one of the most caring physicians I have seen and the only one I trust..

I have been seeing Dr. Sallam for over a dozen years. Though wait times in the office can be lengthy as he is quite busy, I find it worth it as he is among the most efficient physicians I have been to. In my experience, Dr. Sallam's diagnostic skills have been excellent and I am put at ease by his bedside manner. (not necessarily a "warm-fuzzy", but humorous). I also like being able to walk-in without an appointment.

I went to Dr Sallam complaining of a cough and chest pain. He never listened to my chest or did anything to diagnose a problem. He took blood after asking if i had insurance, and when i asked why he said it was to check for a vitamin deficiency.I told the Dr that i had been allergic to decongestants in the past, to which he said he would prescribe one i was not allergic to. He had no information to base that statement on. When i went to the pharmacist i asked to see the ingredient list, i find that the Dr. did not prescribe a decongestant, but an antihistamine. after speaking to the pharmacist i did not fill the prescription and went to another Dr. where I was diagnosed with pneumonia.Please do not put your life at risk as I did. If I had followed his advice I would have ended up in the hospital. Believe that if I had the resources I would be pursuing a malpractice case.
