Helpful listen well explained what I was asking.

We were very happy with Dr. Akbar. He was very through explaining all the options that Al had. The staff was friendly and very prompt. We would highly recommend him.

He is easy to talk to and he’s very good at listening. He makes you feel at ease.

Came in, asked questions about my issue, but never let me finish what I was saying; constantly cut me off. Just kept looking at a lot of paper about passed medical history, some was wrong & when I questioned it, he acted as if I didn't know what I was talking about, he was wrong! He never even examined me, told me my diagnosis & wanted me to continue the meds that caused the issue at a lower dose!! I said to him, "no, you have no idea what i've been thru in the last 5 weeks & I was going to get a second opinion"! Told him this appointment was a waste of time & left!! Would not recommend this doctor.

Dr. Akbar is a great doctor!

My first visit with Dr. Akbar. Appt at 8am--quickly seated in his office by 8am, nurse said he would be in in a few minutes. 8:45 he finally came in, asked a few questions, used his stethoscope to listen to my heart, then scheduled a colonoscopy and endoscopy and blood work. Never checked the area of discomfort in my side.
