Needs his license revoked!

Dr. Tewatia is an intelligent and caring doctor. He makes appropriate referrals, and has a great bedside manner. His office staff is responsive to my needs.

Dr. Tewatia, I went to Dr. Tewatia after experiencing many years with a bad doctor in the area, and I found a great environment, and a loving philosophy that does not happen anymore. Dr. Tewatia took the time to listen, and then explain his thoughts and how we should proceed. I want to say thank you for all your kindness, and time.

Dr. T. is very methodical and takes time to listen and very caring. I believe he is Dr. who saved my wifeâ??s life by his early action and intervention. Even visited her in hospital at 2AM in morning during crisis. Actually gave me his cell phone number to call him anytime.

Primary care doctor for 3 years and Organ transplant patient.. Dr Tewatia is more concerned about protecting his practice and license than treating his patients. For back pain was referred to pain management clinic ( he doesn't prescribe pain meds) Hospitalized for complications of over prescribed narcotics for body mass by HIS referred doctor. Dr T blamed me and threatened if I get pain meds from another Dr again, than I need to find a new doctor. Fast forward 1 year, broken arm, ER visit, decline pain meds per Dr T until he is contacted and approves. Contacts me 3 days later and says if I need them then he suggest I have orthopedic surgeon (very bad break) prescribe them and then says I should find a new Dr... AGAIN!!!!

Dr Tewatia and staff are friendly and caring. The doctor that was in this office before left and he took over my mothers care. They always are smiling and quick to help with her needs. Treated like we are family.

I love Dr. Tewatia. He is kind, patient and caring. He really listens to your concerns and gives accurate and sound advice.

When Dr. Tewatia took over another doctors practice, I started to see him. Initially aI liked him, but I have been seeing him for over a year. I find he ignores symptoms and test results. I have to remind him of serious problems I have sohe doesn't prescribe medications and tests that I should not have, ( such as no dyes or conttrasts),. He just simply doesn't listen. I don't think he has read my history. He does order a lot of tests, I think he is just covering himself, as he doesn't seem interested. There have been a lot of problems with my prescriptions. I dread having to get renewals. They seem to get them wrong, and I get wrong doses, etc. His staff is not friendly or knowledgeable, and there seems to be alot of turnover of his front office staff. I am looking for a new Primary care physician, as I don't hink I can trust Dr. Tewatia to really take care of me., and I am tired of dealing with him and his staff.

I've been going to this office since 2004 and Dr. Tewatia is my third and last doctor I will see. I'm 57 and had never had a colonoscopy. After looking at my records the first thing he asked was if I ever had one (colonoscopy), I told him I hadn't, he sent me to have one done and it showed I had 2 polyps that were then sent to be checked. I was called and told that if I hadn't had the polyps removed they would have been cancerous by August. I'm so thankful for Dr. Tewatia. I even convinced my wife to start seeing her after she spent 3 weeks in the hospital due to low blood pressure that her doctor didn't realize she was taking 3 blood pressure medicines. She has only seen Dr. Tewatia 3 times but she is so happy to also have him as her primary care doctor. He also called her at home personally after one visit to make sure she was doing ok since it was just before the weekend.

He is a caring doctor. I did receive a referral to a specialist.. He explained that one of my medical needs was out of my scope of practice. I appreciated that because many doctors would just try to put a bandaid on it or treat not knowing what they were really doing.,His medical assistant is friendly, knowledge and educated me on my medication too. I was in and out of the office quickly with all my needs met.
