This office is more concerned with micro billing than a sustained relationship with patients. I have 6 children that were seen here. My wife asked for my daughters dental records be sent to another dentist. They tried to hold back dental records because of a 50$ no show charge for one of my children that day. My wife was told of an insurance issue that needed to be investigated that the staff told her that same day and there would then be a fee so she canceled until she got clarity from the insurance company. Meanwhile she showed up to the appointment with my other child who also had an appointment. They billed us 50$ for a cancellation. The practice didn’t know it is illegal and a violation of HIPAA laws to hold back medical records which was ridiculous over the cancellation fee. I had to inform them that I plan to report them for violation of these laws and demanded my children’s medical records be sent. To top it off they wouldn’t give me the records as the father because I didn’t… bring my daughter in when again as a parent I’m entitled to records of my minor even if I didn’t bring her. The owner never came out to resolve this appropriately and respectfully. Very ignorant practice with abysmal customer service.
