Dr. Tasha N Willoughby

I read the reviews ahead of time but I wanted to give this dentist and staff the benefit of the doubt but all reviews that were written are accurate; very incompetent staff as well as the dentist. I was told to come in for a free consultation since I was experiencing pain in my tooth and I thought I had a cavity and needed a filling. I agreed to come in since it was supposedly free. I will come back to the free consultation. My experience with the hygienist was poor; she couldn't take a basic XRAY of my mouth; she had to take the XRAY five times. The dentist came in to assess my mouth and was trying to identify the root problem of my sensitivity. The next thing I know she took this medical instrument and start hitting on my molar (3) teeth asking me if it hurt and told me I needed a root canal. I knew the dentist didn't know what she was talking about so I got up and walked out the door. The same day I went back to my dentist for a follow-up because I didn't appreciate Dr.… Willoughby banging on my three molar teeth. When my dentist examined my mouth the first thing she ask who "cracked your tooth". I was stunned and surprised because I know I had just left Dr. Willoughby and remember her banging on my teeth with a metal instrument. Dr. Willoughby is the dentist who cracked my tooth and now I am stuck paying for a new crown. Let me add that I have never had a cavity in my life time and now I am getting a new crown. I can honestly say that I will be notifying my insurance company of this situation to see what legal action I can take if any. My advice is don't dismiss rating reviews. When customers give you a one star and many of you indicated you would give her a zero if you could; I totally agree with your assessment. My opinion is I learned a valuable lesson the hard way. When a doctor tell you something is free don't believe it unless you get it in writing. Now she wants to billed my insurance company to get paid for an office visit and XRAY services. What a joke!!!!!!!

WARNING! I don't generally like to post negative comments about other people, but Dr. Willoughby did a really terrible job-very poor quality. Very unpleasant demeanor, as well. Would not recommend her.

Love the staff; they made me feel like family. They were able to work with my budget and give me A+ service. Highly recommend them.

NEVER visit this dentist, nor her office!!@
