Dr. Tasneem Maner earned her bachelor’s degree in biology from Villanova University before completing her Doctorate at the Pennsylvania College of Optometry. Her clinical training has taken her across a wide range of settings, including Al-Salama Eye Hospital in India and the Fort Belknap Native American Reservation in Montana. She went on to complete a residency in Advanced Ocular Disease at Seidenberg Protzko Eye Associates and practiced at Mercy Medical Center/Katzen Eye Group in Baltimore from 2021 to 2024 before joining Looking Glass Optical. Dr. Maner provides complete eye care with a particular focus on comprehensive ocular disease, emergency eye care, contact lenses, and specialty dry eye management. In 2017, she received VSP Global’s Dr. Poston Leadership Award in recognition of her commitment to service and leadership. Service remains an important part of Dr. Maner’s work. …She has volunteered with Angels for Sight and OneSight and continues to provide free eye examinations for refugees through CASA Baltimore. Outside of the practice, she enjoys art projects; event planning; and spending time with her husband, son, and 2 cats.
