Dr. Tasnim Beg, MD

Kind front desk staff, appointment was on-time, doctor listened and explained things well. Great experience!

I had a terrible experience with Dr. Tasnim Beg. She looked at her computer almost the entire appointment. Really didn't look at me, perform a physical examination, or even listen to what I was saying. She asked for information I had just given her while she was staring at her screen. Did not follow up with me about test results - I had to ask. She didn't explain the findings, literally just sent me the raw report from the lab without a word of explanation. I had to ask about the findings myself to under the significance. She also ordered an unnecessary test, which I only found was unnecessary after the fact. Padding those health insurance payments at my expense? Long story short - gave me a vague comment about seeing a specialist. Wasn't sure if she was going to give me a referral or if that appointment was being scheduled. Her exact comment was "You should contact them to set up an appt." She never said which "them" she was referring to. Is it a person? Another… office? Now she's on vacation... Meanwhile I am waiting for my prescription to be refilled only to find out she didn't put in for refill and I need to see another doctor for that! I can't name a single positive thing about my interactions with Dr. Beg. Without doubt the worst physician I've ever experienced in my life. She is clearly inexperienced and lacks the common courtesy of following up with patients or even listening to them. There are tons of doctors in the Bay Area. My recommendation is to find one that actually will listen to you and follow up. Its not her.
