The surgery and after care are lacking. I was in pain and bleeding for months. With little to no options given, but more surgery. I will find another surgeon if I ever need this care again. I am in more pain and discomfort after surgery than I was before.

When I was diagnosed with stage 3 colorectal cancer, I evaluated area physicians to perform my surgery. Dr. Ramirez clearly had the best resume, and so I had her perform my cancer removal surgery, which included sigmoid colon removal and subsequent surgery to reconnect my plumbing after everything had healed. I was astonished at how well everything went and how little pain I experienced throughout my yearlong experience, and I attribute this to the skill and care of Dr. Ramirez. Moreover, I subsequently had to have gallbladder removal, which once again Dr. Ramirez did the following year. I hope I'm done with surgeries for a long time, but I am sure I would want no other surgeon to operate on me than Dr. Ramirez.

Dr. Ramirez was very thorough in explaining my procedure and answered all my questions. The procedure itself went well and was done an over within 30 minutes. I highly recommend Dr. Ramirez, she has an easy, bedside manner that quickly puts one at ease. Thank you.
