I didn't know what to expect as an expecting mother having her first OB visits. Dr. Hunt wasn't the giddiest/excited person there is, but she is definitely very smart! I kept with her due to her knowledge about her profession.

If you are a young mother and need a gifted surgeon or want a cesarean section and/or unnecessary birth intervention- visit Dr Hunt. If you want to be treated like a foolish child without respect or discussion on your options during birth- visit Dr Hunt. I am now in my 30s and my son is now 16 but I had him in high school. Went to Dr Hunt because she was my mother's OBGYN and at that point I was so overwhelmed and so deferential to authority that I just went along with being induced 2 weeks before my due date. (So the good doctor could make it to her holiday vacation.) Labor wasn't moving as quickly as she wanted so she increased the pitocin rapidly. Then delivery didn't go fast enough so she used both forceps and vacuum suction. Naturally, she had to do an episiotomy since she was moving the delivery along faster. My son's birth was so traumatizing that I cried about my second pregnancy because I was worried I'd have the same experience. Thankfully I was able to find a better… doctor who treated me like a human after that.

She is always professional; explains everything; answers any questions. Makes you feel like you are her most important patient. I credit her with saving my daughter's life during delivery.
