Dr. Taura Michelle Olfus, DO

She's not even a real doctor - Her ignorance baffles me. I honestly think I know more about medicine than she does, and I work with computers.

After keeping me in the room for 15 mins she showed up and told me to make it quick because she had to leave.!!! Never again

Dr. Olfus has been my primary doctor for about 3 years and I have never met her. It's always been a nurse practioner or other person that I have seen in her office. Even when I was in the hospital recently, I never heard from her. I set an appointment for an annual physical about a month ago and 3 days before the appointment her office called to tell me they need to cancel. What they didn't realize is that I never expected to see her based on passed experience and that I recieved a newsletter showing Dr Olfus was giving a luncheon for seniors the same time as my appointment. I have had it with Lakeside and Dr Olfus! I've already switched for next month, it can't be any worse!

Took me 1.5 months and about 25 phone calls to see her. When i finally got in, she dismissed my symptoms asking "what do you want me to do". DO NOT choose her as your PCP or you'll never actually see your PCP.

I've found the doctor to be thoughtful and caring, always has helped me with care and consideration. On my last visit the doctor informed me that being late for my appointment has caused a backup of patients, she did not know that I was fourty - five minutes early and her staff pretty much made me feel invisible, she apologized to me. It wasn't too difficult to figure out massive office disconnect affecting outcomes not attributed to the doctor.

I saw Dr. Olfus for a rotator cuff injury. When she came into the room she was talking to me with her back turned. I informed her I was hearing impaired. She turned around and snapped, when I'm finished here I will speak louder! I was very taken back by her anger. She spent the entire visit lecturing me on narcotics and how people sell them on the streets. I had asked for pain control other than the narco she perscibed during my last visit. I did not want a narcotic. I simply asked her about an alternative that was not a narcotic. After she was done with her tirade and our visit was over and I was leaving the exam room she again spoke to me with her back turned. I told her that I couldn't hear her, she quickly grabbed me by my injured arm, pulling me back into the exam room. She raised her voice saying...WELL THEN LETS GO BACK IN HERE SO I DONT HAVE TO YELL!!!! Dr. Olfuf knew I had a rotator cuff injury. She knew I was in pain but yet she chose to grab my left arm very forcfully. I'm… am beyond disgusted by her behavior. She should not be practicing medicine. She is hostile!

There’s always a Problem with this medical Group, receptionists are alway so rude, there’s always a Diferent Doctor every time I schedule a Appointment , I always have to wait too long to schedule an Appointment , I waited 2 hours at the lab to find out that They never send my Order and When i call the office keana Was very rude and she was Smating of with me telling that is not My Fault! ??

I came to her because I was concerned over symptoms I was having. Without a diagnosis she decided to tell me nothing was wrong. I requested to have blood work and she refused to write a referral for me because she believed that I was lying about my symptoms. After the visit I decided to go to urgent care because what was happening to me was not normal. There they gave me the blood work I wanted and I tested positive for what I went to see Dr. Olfus for in the first place. It is a life threatening infection if it isn’t caught fast enough. I could of had serious problems if this went ignored any longer. No doctor should ever tell you that you’re lying about your symptoms. She is extremely unprofessional and I will be changing doctors.

She present her self as an MD and BOARD CERTIFIED! She is neither!!!! We have contacted government offices to put an end to her miss leading ways, she didn’t even wanted to give us her license number!!! What doctor refuses to give his license number???
