A most valuable visit that resulted in information regarding my condition. It allowed me to make a decision of treatment.

It would have been helpful if they had realized that they didn't have my CT scan images earlier. They realized it right before the phone call. If someone had organized my medical material sooner, they could have made one call and had the images for the doctor to look at and to go over with me as is usually the case. Hopefully, just a one-time glitch.

I can't say enough about Dr. "Tan". Because of Dr. Tan and his overall incredible associates and staff at Moffitt Tampa, FL I have no evidence of lung cancer after 4 years. When visiting Dr. Tan his relaxed, confident and very competent level of professionalism shows. He instills a sense of calm, understanding and optimism. His "bedside manner" is thorough, always taking time to answer in detail my questions as well as go over scans where I can understand my condition. My husband saw Dr Tan last week for thymoma and he was very kind and answered all our questions. For now we will wait two months for another cat scan to measure any growth in tumors. No growth, no chemo.

This physician has displayed very little empathy if any and has relied on his nurse several times to come up with treatment options/decisions. Thank goodness for nurses! He does not seem to take my concerns seriously during appoitments which has landed me in the ER twice. Perhaps this is a series of unfortunate visits but I would not recommend this physician.
