Dr. Taylor James Kallas

He was on top of my problems and could tell he had my best interest at heart.

Had to come to the ER for an allergic reaction and he was prompt, informative, polite and gave me good conversation with informative information regarding my prescriptions.

Excellent doctor - very professional and his etiquette was spot on. Itâ??s a â??yesâ?? to Dr. Kallas!

Went into the UVRMC ER with two broken arm bones. Easy to diagnose, looked like a pretty clean break (closed fracture), but when it came time to reset, Dr Kallas didn't seem to know what he was doing! The bones were nowhere near in line with each other. Dr Kallas claimed some variance is fine and that the bones should line up on their own and heal normally. A week later the follow up showed no such luck, the bones had to be reset some as the cast got put on. A week after that, the bones were so far from in line that surgery was the only option. Why hadn't Dr Kallas set the bones right in the first place? Could he not see what to do? He was bending the arm back and forth (like the scene in Harry Potter 2) for several minutes! Ouch. Not impressive at all.

Thank heaven for doctors like Dr. Callas. He is a very thorough and capable. If I ever have to return to the ER I hope it is when Dr. Callas is available. He is a true professional. It was quite obvious that the other hospital staff enjoys working with him. I think that says quite a bit about Dr. Callas.

I saw this doctor in the ER. I don't remember him but I am assuming he was satisfactory, so this rating is not about him.I am writing this because the billing company he picked is absolutely ineficient. They go by the name of "Utah Valley Emergency Physician Inc" and they are based out of Grand Rapids MI. They billed my insurance 2 times for the same bill and then billed me for the full amount after my insurance had paid them. When I called to work out the situation the lady was rude and unprofessional. One year later they send me the bill for the right amount. I believe them to be dishonest and careless in their business, not to mention their poor customer service. Dr. Kallas please don't use this billing company anymore, it gives you a bad reputation as they do not treat your patients with the same respect that you do.
