Dr. Tayyib Rana, MD

I had cataract surgery with implants in both eyes. The results are perfect. I can see better—both near and far—than when I was in college. Dr. Rana’s recommendations for implants and the surgery itself were flawless. I give it a 4, and not a 5, only because I think the practice has a little work to do on communications with financial matters.

I’ve been coming to this practice for almost 8 years. Every appointment had been reschedule sometimes even two times. The wait time is out of control. No , we’re sorry, or any apologies.

Dr. Rana take the time to ask and answer question. The staff and nurses are polite, friendly and helpful. I've been a patient for last 4+ years and feel I've been well taken care of.

Best and kind Dr in town

I have had multiple vision defects following surgery. Had to push for final follow up with MD to discuss symptoms of pain, dryness, diminished vision and daily headaches. Dr. Rana 45 minutes late for this last appointment, uncaring and arrogant. No solutions offered for terrible symptoms except for new prescription for glasses which was inaccurate as eyes were unstable.

Dr. Rana, just wanted you to know that your diagnosis was exactly right on with Johns Hopkins. They completed the surgery and now I no longer have the double vision. Again thank you very much! I have been and will continue to recommend you to others as well.

Excellent physician. Dr Rana is thorough and explains all procedures and their purposes and relates well with his patients. I had cataract surgery without pain or any negative results. I highly recommend Dr. Rana.

A bit more pricey than some in the region, but is reliable and does good work.
