OK dr Ahmed became my dr. 4 days after 3rd blood clot . (2nd in I year). And2 days after eclipse vena cava filter was installed. After 2nd clot and 3rd developed dvt I was told by diff. Dr. that I may have become resistant to eliquis a non monitored anti coagulant. 3rd blood clot placed on lovenox dr Ahmed agreed with. Another non monitored coagulant or no monitoring ordered. 9 days after 3rd clot a p.e. blood clot in lungs was recognized and I was admitted into bay med and release in 36 he's under dr Ahmed's care on Arixtra. Another non monitored anti coagulant. 3 days later concerned about my non monitored coagulant dr Ahmed told me to google my question because he did not know answer. Question was have you read research about Arixtra on % of people that have reoccurring blood clots while on Arixtra have a reoccurring blood clot!!!! Again he told me to google it. That night I went to a emergency room at a major hospital in Detroit and released 6 days later with the concern of being… on wrong coagulant and slight chest pain. They place me on heparin iv, (6 bags) and now coumiden. Dr. Ahmed placed me on arixtra and did not include warfarin which on manufacturer site say is critical to do. Also a pharmacist said that drug isn't designed for people with reoccurring clots. Thank you for posting this.

Had to have two emergency surgeries, and his staff made sure everything was taken care of promptly. Keeping me informed through the entire process.

Long wait times, very unprofessional staff, distasteful practice

Was trying to get information and assistance on a shoulder problem and his pa Carrie. Her answer to my questions and requests were. "I am not getting involved in what specialists are doing. I will see you if you have a cold or the flue or something. Other than that don't ask." I guess that is all that office is good for.
