Dr. Teanna Joan Moore, DO

Dr. Moore is an amazing doctor! I couldn’t have asked for a better one. She listens to all your concerns and answers them accordingly. She has helped me so much after my accident 2 years ago and still helps me to this day!!

When I look for a healthcare provider, I look for quality. Dr. Moore has provided that and so much more! I like that I almost never have to wait longer than ten minutes in the waiting room and if she is running late, her nurse always informs me versus keeping me guessing. Dr. Moore has great bedside manners and actually listens to what I have to say. She has taught me things about my health that many other providers would have never, and I like how she stops at the end of my visits to see if there is anything more that we haven't yet covered. Dr. Moore is a provider that recognizes when a health concern is beyond her scope and refers you to specialist to expand upon the concerns. Also, I like how knowledgable she is and how she provides all potential outcomes...which in return helps me to make informed decisions concerning my health. I would 100% recommend seeing her!

This woman is an awesome doctor and I will miss her horribly. She did SO much to help me in such a short period of time. My heart is breaking having to start over again.

I was treated the worst by her than I have ever been treated by any Dr. If u have any health problems Dr. Moore is not the doctor to see

I was in the hospital for multiple blood clots on both of my lungs. My primary care doctor dismissed me on count of me having a cast on my foot and i had to reschedule that appointment to get the cast changed that day. Well i told the hospital i didn't have a primary doctor so they made me a appointment with Teanna Moore. I went to it and filled out all of the paper work, and got back to the room, The nurse looked over my medications i was on. Just because i was on Lyrica for my feet and i get that medication from the diabetic dr. She didn't want to see me because i was on that medication. She couldn't even come in the room at all and i sat up there for hours for nothing. That kinda was unreal. It wouldn't even been her place to prescribe me that medicine only my diabetes Dr. Talk about cussing and storming out of there. The staff was so rude it wasn't funny. I would never recommend anyone to go to this place at all!!!!

I was scheduled to see Dr. Moore, I show up, and the front staff tells me my appointment was canceled, I reschedule, they send me a letter changing my newest appointment (without calling to verify that I can be there that day or verbally informing me of the change,) I show up for the appointment on time (precisely when my letter said to arrive,) the check-in lady took around 10 or more minutes just to check me in, even though I brought my paperwork completely filled out, I wait another 10 minutes in the waiting room, then the check-in lady calls me to the desk and tells me, due to the time, my appointment has to be canceled. She tells me I can reschedule and I tell her to FORGET IT. It was truly an unbelievable experience. It's a shame because I feel like the physicians in that office are really great, but the office staff screws patients out of a good experience and loses money for the company (I now see a physician with HMG.) Following this horrible experience, I have spoken with a… family member and colleague that I know both see another physician in that office, and they both expressed their disgust with the office staff there. So, I am thankful that it worked out the way it did, I wouldn't want to establish with a doctor that the office staff caused so many issues; my time is too valuable to be wasted by careless office staff.

Dr Teanna Moore seems to be a caring doctor, but she doesn’t want to treat the whole person. If a patient has specific concerns such as pain, migraines, mental health issues, musculoskeletal problems, etc., she will refuse to treat those. She will tell you up front that she will in no way prescribe medications that will help treat these conditions. If you are changing physicians and are seeing her for the first time, and have been treated by your previous primary care physician with any of these conditions, then you are left feeling abandoned and scared wondering what you will do to receive the treatment you have been receiving to maintain these medical conditions. It causes great anxiety and confusion because you don’t know where to begin to find doctors to treat your conditions. A patient shouldn’t have to feel this way when they have a primary care physician that is suppose to treat the whole person! What’s got into the new doctors coming out of grad school? What about the… Hippocratic oath?

Dr. Moore was great and very thorough.
