Dr. Ted Steve Auschwitz IIi, DO

My appointment was to be at 1:00 was told to come in1 hour early. That made me there at 12;00. I waited in the waiting room until about 2:30 and then to the exam room. seen aide, nurse and then Dr. He was only in the room with me for no more than 2 minutes then he was gone. I did not get a chance to ask him questions that I want to. He seemed like a nice enough person but wasn't there long enough to know.

Dr Auschwitz was very informative and answered all my concerns. There was no bruising around the sites which i did experience with former surgeons. Will definitely use him again if needed.

Poor bedside manner. Very pompous attitude and didn't answer my questions but just waved them away with his hand saying it wasn't my concern. Really!? Was not pleased with the results from my surgery and had extensive scarring and was not given good post operative care instructions. He told me if I had any problems after surgery to just call 911, not his office. Of course he wanted me to send payment to his office!!!

I would not go to this doctor again. He is pompous and rude, with a horrible bedside manner. My husband endured surgery from him recently and has experienced all kinds of problems. This doctor contradicts himself constantly and when you try and ask a question dismisses it. He kept looking at his watch during our appointments as well even though we waited 45 min to see him for a measly 5 minutes with him. In addition my poor husband continues to be in great pain although this doctor promised that his surgery would work and cure him. We could have tolerated his abrupt manner if he was a great surgeon, but scored low on all counts in our book!
